An opportunity to join a leading foodservice wholesaler in the UK who distribute over 50,000 products to over 60,000 customers. These include restaurants, hotels, bars, hospitals, care homes, businesses, stadia and education facilities such as schools, collegesand universities. The business generated £2 billion turnover last year, employs over 4,000 people and have over 20 regional distribution centres throughout the UK.They are recruiting for an Account Manager to take on the management responsibility for circa 100 accounts whilst also actively generating new business opportunities covering Leicester to Rutland to Kettering.The main purpose of an Account Manager is to manage and develop key relationships with independent restaurants, hotels, bars, cafs, pubs and clubs working with Head Chefs, Catering Managers and Business Owners. Operating in a fast-paced, exciting, competitivemarket place the Account Manager will be tasked with generating new business clients utilising strong business development skills and methods to facilitate growth and profitability across their portfolio of clients.They are ideally looking for a dynamic and passionate sales professional who has strong commercial awareness with a customer-centric ethos to drive service excellence, growth and profit.This is a fantastic time to be joining the team as the business continues to invest heavily in future growth and development.An ideal Account Manager would have the following experience:
