Job Description

Role: Sheet Metal WorkerLocation: Huddersfield, West YorkshireSalary: £11 - 12 per hour.Dependent on Experience, Temporary - PermanentXCL Group are currently recruiting for a leading sheet metal fabrication company in Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. They are looking for Sheet Metal Workers to join their company on a temp - perm basis. They manufacture a variety of products including, but not limited to: automotive, construction and medical equipment.The main duties of the role will be, but not limited to:

  • Following engineering drawings to manufacture the products to a high quality and to specifications.
  • MIG and TIG weld materials together.
  • Using a variety of hand tools and machinery, for example press brakes.
  • Fabricating products to ensure they are a high quality.
  • Work well in a team and independently.
  • Follow all health and safety guidelines at all times.
    • Preferred Experience:
  • Have previous experience in a similar role.
  • Worked with Stainless Steel, Aluminium and Mild Steel.
  • Have a good eye for detail.
  • Be able to confidently follow engineering drawings.
    • Hours of Work:
  • Monday - Friday
  • May be offered overtime during busier periods
