Job Description

Sales Order Processor opportunity in Slaithwaite Huddersfield. We are looking to recruit a full time member of staff to join our customer service team in our busy sales office. This is a permanent and full time role offering variety and a great career.You will assist customers with their phone and email enquiries on stock, products, delivery dates and ensure excellent standards of service and delivery.Main duties:

  • Answering incoming calls to the sales office
  • Replying to emails
  • Inputting orders placed through the office
  • Taking credit/debit card payments
  • Franking post and getting the post ready for collection
  • Sending out samples
  • Carrying boxed goods and parcels to the despatch team and checking labels
  • Assisting the sales team with promotions, new product launches and deadlines
  • Contacting couriers regarding customer orders
  • Invoicing and statements
  • Other duties within the sales office as required
We are looking for:
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • A great telephone manner and patient manner
  • Brilliant team work
  • Confidence and ability with Microsoft Office, Word and particularly Excel
The hours are 8.30 am to 5pm Monday to Friday.
