Job Title: Production Operatives (Days & Shifts)Location: Skelmersdale WN8 6NLSalary: £9.75 - £12.00 p/hr + overtimeContract: Contract - Ongoing / Full timeSector: Manufacturing & ProductionDue to the increase in workload due to current product demand, our client, a premier manufacturer company based in Skelmersdale are seeking a number of Production Operatives to join its team on an ongoing temporary basis,As the Production Operative your duties could include to:- Trim, buff and polish small parts and assembles large or medium size components.- Assemble components using nuts, bolts or glue, with the use of light-duty hand tools.- Transport materials using hand trucks or dollies, packs materials or products in shipping containers and performs repetitive work to meet company quotas.- Run relevant factory plant.- Perform regular inspections in line with the process.To be a successful Production Operative you will have the following skills and experience:- Ideally have previous production, assembly, engineering or warehouse experience however not essential as full training will be given.- Ability to use small hand tools- Excellent numeracy skills.The Production Operatives must be completely flexible to work any shifts, which can range from standard day shifts to afternoons/nights/continental shift patterns as the production volumes require.The opportunity of overtime is also available.
