Production OperativeBased in Skelmersdale, LancashireUp to £10 / hr + benefitsA global leader in the design and manufacture of industrial bakeware products is currently looking to recruit a number of Operatives at their Cleaning & Glazing facility in Skelmersdale, Lancashire. The RoleYou would be tasked with ensuring that all production processes and activities are set and run in a manner which maximises efficiency, actively supporting quality and continuous improvement programmes, whilst ensuring all health and safety guidelines and regulations are consistently adhered to. You will work to a set shift pattern of either 6am-230pm or 730am-4pm, Monday to Friday - you may also be eligible for overtime from time to time and this is paid at time and a half.Full training would be provided. Note please that the role is being advertised on a fixed term contract basis for a period of 6 months - there is potential for career progression for the right candidate though.The Candidateo Previous experience in a manufacturing / production environment although training will be providedo Physically fit as heavy lifting will be involved on a regular basiso Competent working with hand tools and machinery, technically mindedo Flexible and adaptable in availability for working hours and duties to be covered, during holiday periods o Reliable individual with a strong and positive work ethic and determination to motivate self and otherso Organised, able to follow and put in place routine tasks efficiently, strong attention to detailo Team Player, reliable and will take initiative if left on owno Good communication skills, both written and verbal, sharing of company information and ideas encouraged.o Not frightened to take decisions and solve problems with Route Cause Analysis would be an advantage o Strives for continuous improvement and to instigate new ideas and ways of workingo FLT licence would be an advantage however is not essentialo Computer literate would be an advantageThe CompanyAn International market leader in the industrial bakeware field.
