Job Description

Staffline have excellent opportunities for Packing Operatives, to join an exceptional Customer situated in Skelmersdale. There can be potential, permanent Job opportunities for successful candidates.In your new role as a Packing Operative, your duties will be as follows, not exhaustive:

  • Pulls and packs product based on daily orders.
  • Meets specifics of customer orders in a timely manner.
  • Keeps products separated, organised
  • Manually Packing
  • Printing and Labelling
  • Measuring
  • Quality Checking
  • Palletising
  • Monitor’s product quality frequently, reporting problems to mitigate safety issues.
  • Utilizes continuous improvement mindset and assists in identifying opportunities to improve processes.
  • Follows good manufacturing practices and required work safe practices.
  • Maintains a clean, and safe work area, general Housekeeping.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
    • Work Hours Flexibility is required for this role to suit the needs of the Business.Standard hours are working on a 3 shift Pattern, Rotating.6am-2pm, 2pm-10pm and 10pm-6amMonday-Friday, however, please note the night shift starts on a Sunday evening.Training will be on Day shifts initially, for a short period.Rate of pay for the Packing Operative Job £9.91, with opportunities for overtime, paid at an enhanced rate, after a qualifying periodPacker Qualifications / Skills:
  • Scanning and sorting outgoing stock
  • Pulling, packing, and loading
  • Quality checking
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Measuring
