Location: SkelmersdaleSalary: £30,000Summary:As a Health & Safety Representative, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing Health & Safety compliance within a progressive logistics business, working collaboratively within the team to ensure highest standards are achieved. Reporting into theHead of Health & Safety, the successful candidate will have previous working experience in a Health & Safety role within a logistics / engineering operation. Key Responsibilities:Assist the Head of Health & Safety in achieving best standards of safety within the operation.Complete Health & Safety checks and take action on any risks / areas of improvement. Implement necessary actions highlighted on audits.Promote adherence to best working practices and train operational teams where appropriate.Ensure risk assessments and other legislative documentation are completed and up-to-date. Key Skills/Experience:At least 4 years working experience within a Health & Safety role, specifically within a logistics / engineering function. Good team player, able to work collaboratively to achieve the highest standards of safety within the organisation. Strong understanding of Health & Safety legislation.Excellent communication skills, able to highlight areas of improvement and educate staff on safe working procedures.
