Job Description

We are looking to recruit a Customer Service Representative to join our team based in Skelmserdale. This is an outward facing role that requires significant customer contact. Strong customer service capability must be combined with good organisational skills and a keen eye for detail. The key purpose of the Data Analyst role is to provide an expert data analysis and fuel management service to our customers. Whilst their fuel is in the hands of the experts, Fairbanks, this allows them to focus on other areas of their fuel retail business.Responsibilities as our Customer Service Representative:Reporting to the Site Services Manager, this role requires you to be a courteous and professional first point of contact for commercial customers.- Respond to calls in a professional and courteous manner- Log all FM related calls on internal FM systems ensuring that accurate and correct information is obtained- Liaise with service contractors, both third party and WFM in-house, to ensure call status is updated- Maintain and update progress status on open calls on the system to ensure customer SLA’s are maintained- Ensure calls are answered efficiently and within our contractual SLA agreements- Ensure excellent customer service skills and relations with engineers and contractors at all times- Document preparation- Scanning and uploading information on the system accurately- Postage (including preparation)- General office dutiesWhat we’re looking for in our Customer Service Representative:Essential:- Customer service experience ideally in a customer facing call centre environment- Call handling experience- Demonstrable communication skills both verbal and written- Good computer operating capabilitySkills:- Demonstrable organisational skills- Computer and Microsoft office skills- Attention to detail- High standard of verbal and written communication skills- Polite and efficient yet persuasive manner- Ability to communicate confidently and professionally at all levels- Strong desire to learn in a busy team environment- Excellent time keepingEssential Functions:- The Call desk operates 8am to 6pm. You will be required to cover these hours on a rota basis.- Weekend working is a requirement of this post. Expect to work a minimum of 1 Saturday every 3 weeks and 1 Sunday every 6 weeks. Additional time worked is compensated as Overtime or TOIL.- The Call Desk operates 363 days a year so there is a requirement to work Bank Holidays on a rota basis.- Flexibility in approach- Ability to effectively/clearly communicateThe ability to perform the essential functions is a requirement of the job.
