Job Description

As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting students educational and personal growth. You will closely collaborate with classroom teachers and other educational professionals to provide individualised assistance to students,empowering them to achieve their full potential.Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver targeted support to students within the classroom, ensuring they receive the attention and guidance they need.
  • Collaborate with teachers to create and implement personalised learning plans, adapting to the unique needs of each student.
  • Cultivate a welcoming and inclusive classroom environment that encourages active participation and engagement.
  • Aid students in acquiring vital academic and life skills to help them thrive.
  • Contribute to maintaining a positive and orderly classroom atmosphere.
  • Establish effective communication channels with parents, guardians, and external educational stakeholders.
Requirements:
  • Prior experience in an educational support role is advantageous.
  • A sincere dedication to facilitating students academic and personal development.
  • DBS on the Update service (or willingness to apply for one).
  • A patient and empathetic approach to working with students.
  • A strong ability to collaborate within a team, adjusting your approach to meet each students unique requirements.
