Job Description

We need Teaching Assistants to work as part of ateam of adults in each class. Some experience of working with pupils withspecial educational needs would be an advantage, though not essential, astraining will be given. From all staff we expect commitment to the schooland a desire to improve and excel. While this vacancy is in our nursery (HoneybeesClass), there will be opportunities to move across the school age range. OurTAs are expected to work flexibly across the school when needed. Our Early Years classes use the Tapestry system torecord assessments. Training will be given, but basic computing skills areessential for this role. Working Hours in our Observation andAssessment Nursery are 9:00 to 16:00 (32.5 hours). The prorated salary is£13,628 plus £1,296 Special Needs Allowance.
