Job Description

Pay: M7 / UPS 1 dependent on qualifications (see JD)Start Date: As soon as possibleWe have a unique opportunity for a specialist teacher to join our excellent team. This post is a temporary position (linked to High Needs funding) for a teacher with expertise and good knowledge of a range of strategies to support pupils with autism (ASD). This teacher will work with a designated pupil and his specialist Teaching Assistant to deliver bespoke intervention and strategies for his support in our mainstream environment. This teacher will work alongside our Early Years Team and will have a close relationship with the class teacher and SENCo in order to ensure the childs needs are fully met to enable him to make good progress. The position is part time (8:30 - 12:30 Monday to Friday). Please read the Job Description and Person Specification for full details.The right candidate will be able to offer:

We are a three-form entry school with 9 classes for 270 children in years R, 1 and 2 plus a wonderful Nursery. Attached to the school is The Acorn Centre, a specially resourced provision who cater for children with an Education and Health Care Plan (EHCP) for Speech and Language needs.
