Job Description

We are looking for a Machine Operative - to run a bespoke piece of equipment for our client in Sittingbourne. This equipment is unique to the client, and the successful individual would need the following credentials:

  • Previous experience in a production focused role;
  • Fork Truck / Clamp truck licence;
  • Highly motivated;
  • Computer literate;
  • Accurate and high level of attention to detail are paramount;
  • Mechanical know-how.
The machine in question requires daily / weekly basic maintenance to ensure performance is at a high level. Full training will be given but a "mechanical mind" is key to this role. Basic mechanical skill, and or engineering interests would benefit the candidategreatly.The role works on a fixed shift pattern of 6am-2pm Mon to Fri, but there is tremendous scope to increase salary by learning other machines, and overtime is offered on other machines once training has been completed and so the scope to earn more is alwaysthere. This machine is not physically demanding, as most processes are automated, but require a disciplined and highly accurate way of working, with attention to detail being paramount.This role offers an immediate start for the right person.
