Finance Business Partner / Finance AnalystOn behalf of our client in the FMCG/Fresh Produce industry we are looking for an analytical thinking Finance Business PartnerRole Summary:The candidate will analyse key operating data in order to drive immediate operating changes. The overall focus will revenue maximization and cost reduction and will be expected to work closely with operational management and support the management accountant.Main Responsibilities:• Review, challenge and influence daily Production and Indirect labour ordering through the use of activity tools and supply availability.• Partner with key business stakeholder such as site General Managers and Operations Managers to help them understand and utilise data to make performance improvements and improve profitability.• Review and challenge recent operational performance and influence future performance by SKU, using Qlik and TrakSYS. The intention is for all data to be fed back to operational management within 5 working days of activity with as much as reasonable on an“in-person” basis.• Monitor packaging unit costs to ensure that unit costs are reflected in the rate card and costing models to ensure cost recovery. This should be undertaken alongside the Packaging team so allowances can be made with sub-optimal order quantities and so thatfuture increases can be anticipated.• Update the Senior Finance Business Partner, Assistant Financial Controller and Financial Controller of all key operating cost issues to ensure that they are reflected in the Management Accounts.• Support the Senior Finance Business Partner with any reasonable task.TO BE SUITABLE YOU MUST HAVE FRESH PRODUCE OR FMCG EXPERIENCEQualifications and Skills:• Educated to GCSE English and Maths or equivalent• Excellent written and spoken English skills• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills• Ability to work unsupervised• Ability and willingness to be flexible, thorough and show attention to detail• Ability to work under pressure, to strict deadlines• Be organised and methodical in your approach to work• Substantial experience of modelling using Microsoft Excel and Business Intelligence tools• Knowledge of Prophet is desirable• Experience in an operational, planning or accounts roleMeasure of Performance/Key Deliverables:• Timeliness and accuracy of reports.• Ability to influence decision making• Supplier management and keeping them informed.• Organizational skills.• Timekeeping & attendance.
