Job Description

Finance AssistantLocation: SittingbourneJob Type: TemporaryWe are currently seeking a Finance Assistant with a keen eye for detail and a passion for numbers to join a finance team on a temporary basis. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting financial operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiencyin financial processes.Day to day of the role:

  • Process invoices and manage accounts payable and receivable.
  • Reconcile bank statements and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Support the finance team with ad-hoc projects and tasks.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Finance Assistant or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency with accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Keen attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Relevant qualifications in finance, accounting, or related field are desirable.
