We are currently working with a leading FMCG distributor, based in Sittingbourne.Due to ongoing growth, they are currently seeking an experienced Compliance Manager to support all internal and external site audits.The Compliance Manager will be responsible for:Developing and maintaining the Quality Management systemEnsuring the Quality Management system is available to all staffEnsuring the internal audit schedule is implemented against the Quality Management system and the Customer Codes of Practice Carrying out risk assessments or 2nd party auditing for suppliersCoordinating of site GMP auditsManaging pest control contractHACCP & TACCP team leadershipArranging, chairing and documenting the Annual Quality Review meetingUndertaking recall and traceability tests as part of the Technical & Quality teamEnsuring micro and pesticide testing is completedManaging of document control systemGenerating and reporting of technical performance KPIsDeveloping, training and maintaining the Technical & Quality teamEnsuring that continuous improvement/best practice as well as effective team workingThe ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:Degree qualified in Food Science or Agricultural based studies or similar or equivalent work based experienceAt least 2 years working in a Technical roleA working knowledge of BRC Minimum of level 3 HACCP and Level 3 Food Hygiene plus an internal auditing qualificationStrong interpersonal skillsSelf organisedResilient with a strong work ethicProven time management skills and be accustomed to working with and meeting time critical deadlinesAbility to work well under pressure and proactively seek win/win solutionsProficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and OutlookThis is an outstanding opportunity to join a growing business who can offer ongoing career development coupled with a competitive salary and benefits package.At KHR we take care to ensure that you are represented as well as possible so it is worth checking your CV for layout, spelling and grammar as well as making sure it is up to date before you submit.
