Start Date: September 2020Pay: £16825 - £17411 pro-rataWe are starting a brand new After School Club next academic year and need someone organised, conscientious, fun and caring to lead on this new provision. This vacancy is for the After School Club Leader and is for two and a half hours per day working with children between the ages of 3 and 7. Full details of the position can be found on the attached job description.The role includes providing children with a hot snack each day, supervising and supporting the children whilst they eat and engaging with play with them once they have finished. There will be an After School Club Assistant too who will work under your direction but very much as part of a team. During this time it is vital that the adults engage with pupils in conversations and play as well as manging their safety and enabling good hygiene. Therefore, a cheery and caring disposition is essential! We are a three-form entry school with 9 classes for 270 children in years R, 1 and 2 plus a wonderful Nursery. Attached to the school is The Acorn Centre, a specially resourced provision who cater for children with an Education and Health Care Plan (EHCP) for Speech and Language needs.
