Job Description

Cordant People are currently recruitng for Production Line Operators to work for our ever expanding client in Leeds LS12 on a temporary to permanent basis.Hours: Monday to Friday 7.30am-5pmPay Rate: £9.50p/h to £10.50p/h dependant on experience Main Purpose of Role: To assist in the manufacture of various high quality marquee frame and related equipment by manning/operating manufacturing machinery as well as assisting in the finishing, packing and dispatch of orders.Key Responsibilities:

Setting and operating bespoke production machinery in line with training and company procedures.

Processing/cutting of the alluminium profiles including cnc operations as also copy routers - drills, polishers and other power tools.

Additionnaly quality check, picking and dispatch of the customer orders within daily schedule

On the company plant they have multitask press to cut and bend metal parts.

Maintain targeted production schedule by keeping the line operational and functional.

Conduct regular quality checks and testing to ensure products are manufactured to specification.

Ensure good ‘Housekeeping’ by keeping working areas clean and tidy both throughout and at the end of working days.

Ensure tools and equipment are treated with respect and always packed away in designed areas at the end of a working day.

Have a positive can do attitude.

Great attention to detail.

Always adhere to company H&S policy and procedure and use PPE as provided and directed in company training.
