Assistant Quantity Surveyor- Housebuilding and RegenerationFawkes & Reece are representing a main contractor who seeks to appoint an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to work along side a Senior Quantity Surveyor in their Commercial team.This is a fantastic opportunity for an Assistant Quantity Surveyor to work for a market leading main contractor and develop their career working on a range of sites in the Yorkshire region. As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor you will assist the Senior QuantitySurveyors and will be responsible for assisting in the management of income on contracts allocated to you and your team by increasing profits by good surveying practice.Duties will include:Take offOn-site MeasuresMonthly ValuationsRecord and price variationsReconcile cost/value reportsSubcontractor PaymentsPricing TendersAssisting with final accountsYou are required to have excellent commercial awareness.You must be degree qualified or equivalent or studying for your degree and it is desirable that you have previous experience in the new build or refurbishment sector. A valid CSCS card would be an advantage.
