Tempting Recruitment are working alongside our client, a Not-For-Profit Organisation, who are looking to recruit an experienced Senior Fundraising Officer to join their team based in the South London/Kent area.JOB DETAILS* PAY RATE: £30k - £35k* WORK TYPE: Permanent* WORK PATTERN: Full Time* LOCATION: South London/KentJOB SUMMARYExpanding their small fundraising team, my client are looking for a Senior Fundraising Officer. Reporting to the Head of Fundraising, the Fundraising Officer will be responsible for raising income through community fundraising, grants/trusts and developing other key income streams: major donors, regular giving, and legacies. The role will also supportthe Head of Fundraising with all aspects of administration including gift processing and thanking, donor stewardship and fundraising events.JOB DESCRIPTIONThe duties and responsibilities of the role will include:* Contribute to the overall fundraising strategy as a member of the fundraising team.* Manage, support, and develop imaginative fundraising activities, some of which will be event based.* Assist the Head of Fundraising with the development of the Major Donor and Corporate income streams* Assist the Head of Fundraising with the development of the regular giving, employing data segmentation and targeted approaches that are reviewed regularly with a view to appropriate incremental increases and where appropriate multi-year commitments* Assist the Head of Fundraising to draft a gifts-in-wills plan fronted by supporters that is both considerate and engaging* Contribute to bid writing for grant/trust applications. Must have detailed knowledge of effective prospecting tools and how to develop a pipeline* Fundraising administration including gift processing, donor thanking and stewardship.* Keep donor records up to date on our CRM(Salesforce).* Work with the Head of Fundraising to have a good overall understanding of all revenue streams.* Preparation of fundraising reports for the Head of FundraisingTHE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATEThe successful candidate will have the following skills and competencies:* Experience of charity fundraising over a range of disciplines.* Must be an excellent relationship builder, able to engage and build at a variety of levels* Experience/knowledge of UK grant/trust applications.* Proven track record of meeting fundraising targets.* Good administration skills.* Strong IT skills including work, excel, outlook and CRM.* An understanding of a range of databasesPlease be advised that only candidates that have the specific skills and experiences required for this role will be shortlisted and submitted to our client for review.HOW TO APPLYHit the APPLY button or contact Ashley Heath at Tempting Recruitment NOW.
