Cloud Implementation / Project Engineer - Kent - £50,000 - £60,000k + Excellent benefits + Hybrid workingOverview:An excellent opportunity has arisen with a market leading Managed Service Provider for a Cloud implementation engineer to undertake project work to the customers infrastructure including server, storage, network, data and applications.The ideal candidate will have detailed proven experience leading and managing Azure & O365 projects, even better if this includes Sharepoint. Role and Responsibilities: To provide project implementation services to 3rd party clients Administer and maintain customer infrastructure, including Active Directory, Azure AD, LAN, Internet access, firewalls and Exchange/Office 365 Implement and Administer VMware and Citrix Infrastructures including SAN environments Creation of work packages for delivery and working closely with the resource manager for scheduling. Responsible for Project Management for all implementations where a project manager has not been assigned. Management of relationships with third parties and suppliers Keep operational documentation up-to-date Act as technical lead when part of a major incidents virtual team.Essential Skills & Experience: Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server 2008/2012/2016/2019 including NLB and clustering Microsoft Azure Platform Virtual Machine Hosting Excellent knowledge of VMware vSphere 5.0+ in an enterprise environment Strong knowledge of Microsoft Exchange Server and Office 365 Thorough knowledge/experience of troubleshooting networking protocols and technologies such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing and vLANs Strong Knowledge of backup and DR services (Backup Exec, Datto, Azure) Experience in installing, configuring and managing Cisco switches, firewalls and routers. Good knowledge of Avaya phone systems and Gamma Horizon.
