Job Description

Manpower has an excellent opportunity for a Stock Control Analyst within the food production industry, reporting directly to the Procurement Manager. You will be based in Shotts, Scotland, where you will play an integral role in the production of nationalbrand-leading products.This well-established business became a beloved Scottish brand back in the 1930s, starting as a bakery in Shotts. Their philosophy is that people are at the heart of their products.This position provides an excellent opportunity for you to develop your career, as they offer great training for developing your skills.As a Stock Control Analyst, you will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing weekly inventory counts
  • Analysing inventory
  • Forecasting stock requirements to reduce waste
  • Investigating stock variances and taking corrective action to reduce errors
  • Ensuring deliveries are received on time, following up with suppliers for unmet deadlines
To be successful in the role of Stock Control Analyst, you will have the following skills and experience:
  • Practical experience using stock control systems, including MRP/ERP
  • Warehouse or stores experience
  • Ability to analyse data and formulate appropriate plans for improvement
  • Ability to look at trends and predict stock needed
This is a Monday-Friday full time role, working 9am-5pm, however there may be flexibility with the hours.In return for your services, you will receive a competitive salary of circa £28,000 per year depending on experience.If this sounds like the perfect opportunity to really propel your career, please dont hesitate to apply today!
