Job Description

Depot/Operations Manager - Required for our client to Manage 2 of their depots in Shotts and Lockerbie. The successful candidate will be joining a skilled in-house workforce and have the specialist plant required to provide a number of services.Depot/Operations Manager Position Remuneration

  • Salary £60k - £80k DOE

Depot/Operations Manager Position Overview
  • Manage resource with other depot managers.
  • Responsible for the successful day to day operations.
  • You will be responsible for generating increasing profit and sales turnover.
  • Have an excellent understanding and control of the depot costs and banking including the profit and loss account.
  • Maintain a safe working environment, in line with Health and Safety regulations.
  • Effectively communicate all sales and operations procedural changes to all depot employees in a timely and prompt manner.
  • Encourage development and train employees, to increase personal performance levels and maintain team values.
Depot/Operations Manager Position Requirements
  • At least 3 years experience managing a tool hire depot
  • Commercial and Contracts Knowledge
  • Experience Managing staff and a workforce
  • Financial experience PnL
  • Traffic Management preferred but not essential.
