MTrec’s New Opportunity:MTrec are proudly representing our global and industry leading client, based in Tyne and Wear who are looking to recruit an experienced purchasing administrator as soon as possible. This role presents an opportunity to work for an internationally renownedcompany with a strong regional presence who work with a range of blue-chip customers. You will be working in a highly interesting and fast paced purchasing environment, working on a variety of projects and support areas.   • Raise purchase orders for none job specific items from a purchase requisition given.
  • Send Purchase orders off to suppliers.
  • Update SAP with confirmed delivery dates from order confirmations
  • Run SAP report to chase any deliveries that have not had an order confirmation.
  • Creating new suppliers on SAP when needed
  • Creating new supplier parts for production items
  • Liaise with other areas of the business which include but are not limited to Contracts, Production etc.
  • Checking and inputting order confirmations on SAP
  • Run SAP report to chase any deliveries that haven’t arrived on time and inform contracts/production/Accounts.
  • Update changes in supplier prices within SAP
  • Issue month end stock sheets and place relevant orders of consumable stock.
  • Querying invoices to match delivery status and price.
