We employ over 1900 people to manage and develop our large portfolio of nearly 56,000 homes serving over 75,000 customers acrossLondon, the East Midlands, Southern and the East of England.This roleWe are looking for an experienced new homes sales professional to join our successful team. Someone who is dynamic, driven and passionate about delivering an exceptional customer experience, ideally you will have good, shared ownership experience.This role will be predominantly based on a new site in Solihull, Birmingham but may be required to work across our East Midlands region. You will be a front-line representative for SO Resi, the shared ownership brand for Metropolitan Thames Valley, requiredto work routinely at weekends to achieve our reservation targets.The key requirements for this role which will be on an initial 6 month Contract are;

  • To be the point of contact for all clients and support that customer
  • To liaise with customers as required, building strong relationships resulting in great feedback
  • Demonstrate sound product knowledge during the reservation and sales process
  • Handle customer queries both by email, telephone or in person
  • Able to complete the administrative duties that come with the sales process using business systems
  • Manage and check all documents required to ensure sales compliance
  • Support our internal progression teams to help deliver sales to exchange and completion
  • Attend home demonstrations on completion day
Skills and experience required
  • The ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with a wide range of customers and stakeholders.
  • Results orientated with an ambition to deliver customer aspirations
  • Self-motivated with a positive and problem-solving attitude
  • Ability to work under their own initiative and at weekends as standard
  • Willing to be a team player
  • Demonstrable experience in a sales and customers service environment
  • Knowledge of intermediate and private sales products
  • An understanding of the legal process of shared ownership and outright property sales
  • IT and numeric literacy
  • Educated to GCSE Standard
  • Construction Skills Certificationsite visitor level (desirable)
  • Holds a full clean driving licence and has the use of a vehicle for work purposes.
