Maintenance of customer accounts and ensuring accurate first time information provided to customers.Scope of the Credit ControllerChecking customers credit ratings / credit checks before opening client accountTimely and effective collection of all debts and customers paymentsReview of proforma payments & liaising with Customer ServicesProvide outstanding levels of customer service to internal and external customersMonitoring debtor balances to ensure a reduction in debtors DSOResolving queries both internally and externally around outstanding invoices in a timely mannerProviding accounts information, for example aged debt reports, on weekly basesMonth End procedure and sending out monthly statements via systems and manual processPrerequisitesIdeally worked in a credit control role within the manufacturing sectorConfident and polite telephone mannerExcellent communication skillsProficient in all Microsoft systems, particularly Excel and knowledge of Opera accounting software would be an advantageJob ID: 5351
