Our client is a well-regarded name within the fire protection and prevention sectors known for their expert range of services. They currently seek an experienced and hardworking Fire Risk Assessor based in or around the Sheffield area. The successful candidatewill hold a relevant fire safety certification such as NEBOSH Fire Certification or equivalent qualification and will be experienced in carrying out in-depth fire risk assessments on a range of site types. Consideration will be given to applications from Chesterfield,Doncaster, Worksop, Barnsley and the surrounding areas. Experience & Qualifications: Must hold the NEBOSH Fire Certificate or NEBOSH Fire Conversion Technician status with recognised bodies IFSM/IFPO/IFE/NAFRAR would be preferred.Will come from a strong Fire/H&S Consultancy and technical background within the fire industry. An in- depth knowledge and experience of undertaking fire risk assessments on various properties, including commercial, industrial and public sectors is essential. Must possess excellent communication skills - both written and verbal.Must have proficient IT skills and be adept at using the Microsoft Office Package.Good working knowledge of relevant health & safety protocol and legislation. Post-holder duties: Undertaking Fire Risk Assessments and Health & Safety Risk Assessments in various industry sectors, including commercial, industrial and residential.Delivering presentations and training.Supplying high level consultancy advice.Providing Fire and Safety Guidance and investigating incidents.Producing fire risk assessments reports and ensuring compliance with the Health & Safety Legislation with regards to fire.Addressing any issues effectively and appropriately.Liaising with clients and staff of all professional levels. The successful post-holder will be competent in undertaking Fire Risk Assessments without supervision.Must be prepared to travel as per the clients requirements. The successful post-holder will have a wealth of experience working within the fire protection sector and will demonstrate a positive and proactive approach to their work.
