Process Technician Salary £26,000 - £30,000 Depending on skills and experience + Business use of company vanPermanent Location; You will be working within the Anglian Water region covering areas such as Sheringham and Dereham Are you looking for an exciting and rewarding career, at a company committed to investing in your training and developmentJoin us for the opportunity to gain valuable skills, qualifications and experience, whilst being part of a company dedicated to building a sustainable future.An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Process Technician to join our Water Services teamThis team-oriented position will see you joining one of our Supply Water Treatment Works units to ensure that the Water Supply process delivers treated water by carrying out routine operations. Youll be responsible for the day-to-day operation and maintenanceof our abstraction, treatment and pumping and storage systems. Operating machinery, monitoring processes and problem solving across a number of sites will all be part of this varied role, as well as maintaining quality compliance and adhering to company policiesand procedures.What does it take to be a Process TechnicianIdeally you will hold an NVQ level 2 or equivalent qualification in a relevant discipline and come from a process industry/engineering background. Well provide full and on-going training to help you to understand in detail the water treatment process.Your ability to learn quickly and use your own initiative to solve problems is essential for this role and you will train alongside an experienced Works Technician to ensure you gain all the skills and knowledge required.Youll need a flexible approach to working hours, you will be working a shift pattern and you may be required to participate in a rotating standby rota in order to provide 24 hour operational service throughout the water treatment works.Benefits aligned to this roleOur people are important to us and we want to make sure that we reward and recognise all of the great work that they do.
