Staff365 are looking to recruit for our prestigious client who has delivered stages and structures for events such as the London Olympics 2012, Commonwealth Games 2014, Capital FMs Summertime Ball, BBC Proms, Formula E, ITV Studios Bovingdon, CreamfieldsFestival, The Open Golf Championship & Goodwood Festival of Speed. Acorn are one of the largest staging and structures providers in the UK.We are currently recruiting full time Yard Operatives to work on a variety of different projects based at our HQ in Sherburn in Elmet LS25We operate our own in house departments including joinery shop, welding/fabrication shed, spray booth, PVC sheet warehouse, electrical division and more.Ideally we are looking for people with the following skills & experience - at any levelHours: Monday to Friday - 8AM to 6PMHourly pay - (dependent on skills) £9.00 - £13.00 per hourWoodworking or joinery skillsWelding / fabrication / steel workPaint sprayingElectrical knowledge - PAT testing, servicing & maintenance of electrical lighting, cabling and distro equipment- Experience with PVC materials (i.e. marquees / stage sheeting)- Loading / Unloading trailers to a pick list of items- General labour (sorting, picking, tidying)Scaffolding or construction knowledge is advantageous, however not essential.Industrial Forklift ticket would be beneficial but again not essential as the company provides in house training.Fast paced working environment with opportunity to develop with the company.
