You’ll become a key player in our dynamic team, driving excellence in customer service, quality maintenance, and exceeding satisfaction levels.Core hours -Monday to Friday (Earlys 6-14:30, Lates 1:30-22:00)Salary -£17.73 per hour + overtime rate of £22.50 per hourWere looking for standout HGV Technicians to join our team on a full-time permanent basis from our Sherburn workshop. As an HGV Technician with us, youll be instrumental in keeping some of the UK’s largest brands on the road, entrusted with inspections, maintenance,repairs, and servicing of our clients fleets.Key Responsibilities:· Diagnose and fix electrical, electronic, mechanical, and hydraulic issues· Overhaul electrical components and equipment· Perform welding and metalworking tasks (if authorized & qualified)· Utilize advanced machine tools and equipment (if authorized)· Conduct Department of Transport (MOT) testing (when suitably qualified)· Manage parts ordering and stores inventory· Mentor and support Apprentice Technicians· Maintain precise job records and details· Ensure workshop equipment is in top working condition· Uphold rigorous health, safety, and cleanliness standardsSkills & Experience:· NVQ Level 3 in Heavy Goods Vehicle maintenance or equivalent· Strong customer service mindset· Excellent communication skills· Ability to work efficiently under deadlines· Self-motivated with a strong drive to excel· Proficient in comprehensive repair and servicing techniques· Diagnostic skills and qualifications are a plus· Prior fleet management experience is advantageousOffering More Than Just a Job:· Competitive Salary· Company Pension· Life Insurance· 25 days annual leave + bank holidays· Referral Scheme· Long Service Rewards· Eye HealthAt our company, we foster professional growth and offer a stimulating environment where you can elevate your career alongside a team dedicated to excellence.
