We are experiencingsignificant growth right now and this is a genuinely exciting opportunity for a IT Service Delivery Technician/ 2nd line Support to join our global leading business.We are looking to recruit to an IT Technician2nd Line Supportresponsible for helping support all Kingspan Insulations services including applications, systems, hardware and customers, ensuring a first class support service to our entirecustomer base. This is a divisional role based at our head office in Pembridge, Herefordshire. You must be prepared to travel to remote sites world-wide as the need arises.Key responsibilities of our IT Technician2nd Line Support:

  • Ensure all tickets are handled to agreed procedures, and documentation and guidance is provided to users.
  • Perform onsite hardware and software fixes, and where necessary, workarounds across multiple sites.
  • Take responsibility for escalated and major incidents, to work on projects and service improvements.
  • You will be required to provide support outside of normal working hours either as part of a rota or on an ad hoc basis to meet business requirements.
What were looking for in our IT Technician2nd Line Support:
  • ITIL Foundation certificate
  • GCSE grades 9-4 (or equivalent) in English Language and Mathematics
  • Whilst not essential, certificates in Microsoft technologies would be advantageous.
  • You will have previous experience in a similar role, working in an office environment.
  • You will have the ability to handle demanding customer environments and able to work under pressure.
You will also have and understanding and experience of:
  • VM wareW
  • WAN and LAN environments
  • MPLS and VPN fundamentals
  • Microsoft Active Directory
  • Mobile technologies
  • Unified communications
  • Hardware and operating systems
