Elevation Recruitment Groups Skilled Shop Floor Team are proud to be working in partnership with a well established manufacturing business based in Sherburn in Elmet.The client is a manufacturer of ultra lightweight and efficient vehicles that increase efficiency and reduce costs.Their Sherburn in Elmet facility is facing continued growth, and they are currently looking for a Facilities Operative to join their ever growing team.Production Assembly OperativeContract:PermanentHours:37.5 hours per weekWorking Hours:Monday to Thursday - 6am – 2pm / Friday 6am – 11.30amCompetitive rate.Overtime:Paid at time and ½ after 37.5 hours per week and Saturday / Double time SundayOverview of the role of a Facilities Operative:As a Facilities Operative, you will work within the production department to maintain the factory facilities by providing a safe working environment. You will complete daily tasks such as; cleaning, building maintenance, operating manual handling equipmentand other low level machinery. You will also act as a key member of the production team and will also assist in the engineering of modifications to production vehicles! this may include welding and general machine maintenanceThis list is not exhaustive, the role may require other reasonable duties from time to time in line with the needs of the business.Skills & Experience:
