Job Role: SEN Teaching Assistant Location: HalifaxStart Date: ImmediateSalary: £65 - £80Temporary to PermanentI am currently working with a fantastic special educational needs school on an exciting new SEN Teaching Assistant position in the Halifax area.Starting immediately, the school are looking for an outstanding SEN Teaching Assistant to join them on a temporary to permanent basis.This position will be to work with learners on a 1:1 basis many of which have complex learning difficulties so an understanding of how to support young people with SEND will be advantageous. Ideally you will have worked in a similar setting or with young people who have complex needs such as autism, PMLD and other complex learning difficulties. If you have Team Teach or PRICE training then you will have an advantage.What you will need:

A range of behaviour management techniques
To have worked with learners with a range of needs
The ability to re-engage a young person in learning through a range of methods
To be able to commit to working at the school for long period of time
