Job Description

Pro-Found Recruitment Solutions are looking to recruit a Pipe Welder for our client based in Sheffield S9.Pipe Welder Benefits:

  • Location: Sheffield, S9 - workshop based
  • Rate of pay: £18 per hour
  • Hours Monday to Friday 6am until 4pm Monday to Friday or 7am till 5pm
  • Optional Saturdays 6am to 11am on Saturdays paid at time and a half
  • Paid breaks
  • Onsite parking
  • Contract: Temp to perm after 12 weeks subject to performance and attendance
  • Once permanat - Contributory Pension and 28 days holiday + stats
Pipe WelderRole and Responsibilities:
  • To ensure all welding and fabrications of pipes are carried out safely and to a high standard.
  • Ability to read and interpret Engineering and fabrication drawings.
  • Input to training requirements.
Pipe WelderPrimary Objectives:
  • Pipe Welding in workshop.
  • Experienced working with a variety of materials as a Pipe Fabricator especiaslly stainless steel thin wall pipework fabrication.
Pipe Welder Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Time served welder.
  • Must be conscientious in approach to welding to ensure high standards and quality.
  • Act with honesty, integrity and accountability.
  • Ability to work well alone and as part of a team.
  • Excellent knowledge of Health and safety at work.
Pipe WelderQualifications and Experience Requirements:Fully qualified Pipe Welder - NVQ level 3 qualified preferred but not essential or at least 4 years experience in the above role.Broad knowledge of welding and fabrication operation and procedures as required for the role and may include:
  • Manual Metal Arc (MMA)
  • Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG)
  • Metal Active/Metal Inert Gas (MAG/MIG)
Pipe WelderPhysical Demands:This role is physically demanding as you will be involved in heavy Fabrication and welding projects.Pro-Found Recruitment are an employment business and equal opportunities employer
