Our prestigious client needs an experienced Supply and Commercial Manager to oversee a variety of Projects during a large capital expenditure. Due to the nature of the works, it is anticipated that this position will be primarily site based, and will sitinside IR35,The successful candidate will take a lead on all aspects of commercial and supply chain activities, implementing procurement strategy, tender processes, evaluation of bid returns and the negotiation and placement of contracts including the obtaining of allinternal governance requirements to support such.The ideal person will have the following experience: A good understanding of NEC 3 contracts and/ or equipment purchasing contracts. Ideally some experience in using CEMAR Will come from a quantity surveying background that should ideally encompass, new build and refurbishments of heavy industrial building plus some experience in utilities, and the procurement of industrial equipment components.
