Job Description

Opportunity:Brewster Partners have an excellent opportunity for a Software Engineer. The Software Engineer will work in a small team environment developing the software and features of our existing and new products. The candidate must have a good understanding of power electronics and software languagesDuties will include:

  • Maintain existing SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) system based on Ewon and PLC for Energy Systems, including battery, inverter, converter and transformer based on an existing platform (Ewon), which requires a basic understanding of
  • Energy Power systems and power electronic
  • Modbus TCP/IP Communication and network skills such as VPN
  • Python/Basic/Shell script programming
  • PLC programming skills
  • User interface design
  • Take responsibility for identifying project risks and taking steps to mitigate these before they become real issues.
  • Promote best practices and help to develop your teams by providing constructive feedback to peers and junior team members.
  • Contribute to the wider team, particularly with the learnings from your projects. Looks for areas of improvement; technologies, frameworks and tools that we can adopt.
  • Show effective management of your immediate project team and demonstrate an ability to influence our business stakeholders.
  • Effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, helping to bridge the gap between the two.
  • Skills and experience required:
  • Degree in Power system Engineering or any equivalent degrees;
  • At least 1-year Industry experience, other new graduates with great project experience will be considered
  • Programming PLC or SCADA experience;
  • Python experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of writing scripts
