Our client is a specialist external envelope sub-contractor who undertake high quality roofing and cladding projects across different sectors.They work with various types of Roofing and Cladding systems including Rainscreen,Composite, Hot Melt, Flat Roofingand variouis Roofing Systems.They have a roofing and cladding project in Sheffield where they require a Site Manager for a minimum 6 month duration to oversee a student accommadation scheme in the Sheffield area.Duties to include but not limited to:*Management of commercial projects*Request and check specifications*Raise material requests for orders on projects*Check project handover packs prior to starting on site and raise RFIs to ensure all information is correct prior to starting work*Assist with on-site set up including setting out and panel sizing*Resolve on site issues*On site stock checks / stock control*Supervise site management team*Check measure drawings Pre-start meetings and site visits*Create completion paperwork for projects*Assistance with risk assessments and method statements*Progress update with clients*You will be responsible for Managing sub-contractors, Budget Control for your allocated projects and liaison with the client*Ensure systems are being installed according to manufacturers specificationValid CSCS card, Smsts and First Aid is advantageous.
