Job Description

Senior Embedded Software Engineer - Based in Sheffield - £75,000+Cornucopia ITR has partnered with a rapidly growing robotics company who is based in Sheffield. They are hiring a Senior Embedded Software Engineers to extract and embed the algorithms embodied by natual brains into software, allowing the creation of turelyintelligent autonomous machines.Key Responsibilities

  • Develop the embedded linux and RTOS applications.
  • Add to the design and development of automated systems for building, testing and validation of the products.
  • Organise, automate and manage linux distributions across the products, across chip architecture and platform versions.
  • Work with the product and interface teams to design and build product APIs and integration routes.
The CompanyThey have pioneered brain biomimicry, to understand the ability to understand real brains and re-engineer them. Beginning with insect brains see, avoid collision and navigate and make decisions.Key Skills
  • Extensive experience developing RTOS and embedded Linux ARM targets
  • Hands on experience with Open Embedded / Yocto / PetaLinux
  • In-depth understanding of the Linux Kernel.
  • Working with Git.
  • Developing in C/C++
  • Xilinx FPGAs and/or SoCs.
  • Computer Vision Experience.
