Job Description

SEN Supply Cover SupervisorSheffieldSupply, Full-timeWe are currently working with a SEND secondary school that is part of a Multi-academy trust in the Sheffield area who are seeking a Cover Supervisor to join their team on a supply basis.The Role of the Cover Supervisor:-

  • Deliver pre planned lessons to the students, adapting your method of teaching where necessary.
  • Make yourself aware of, and adhere to the schools policies and procedures, particularly regarding behaviour.
  • Maintain a safe learning environment, ensuring any safeguarding concerns are reported correctly.
A Cover Supervisor must have:
  • An Bachelors degree as a minimum; a degree in a subject that is taught at Key Stage 3 and/ or 4 would be advantageous.
  • At least 6 months of cover supervisor experience, or experience teaching or tutoring children aged 11-16 years.
  • Suitable references covering their most recent 2 years of work/study.
  • DBS on the update service or willing to get one.
