Job Description

Our client, one of the largest suppliers of Ansys software worldwide, is looking for a talented and enthusiastic salesperson to strengthen their UK team and contribute to their growth plan.The company Our client are experts in digitization within the engineering field. With more than 30 years of experience, they provide industrial companies with tools, consultancy, training, and support.The role Our client is seeking a Sales Executive to develop and execute sales strategies to maximise value and meet revenue targets. This role will be responsible for the full sales cycle, including development and maintenance of a large deal pipeline, resource allocation,proposal management, and deal closure.Responsibilities include:

  • Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities
  • Setting up calls and meetings for the sales team to follow up on
  • Reaching and background checking on all businesses
  • Communicating new product developments to prospective clients
  • Establishing and maintaining business relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Providing excellent customer service
  • Attending user conferences, shows, and events
  • Learning about new skills and being able to bring in new clients to the business
  • Working with the team in the office, on customer sites and travelling frequently
The requirements The ideal candidate will have some experience in Engineering Simulation, ideally using the ANSYS suite of products, as well as:
  • Degree qualified in Sales, Engineering, or relevant discipline
  • Proactive and focused on converting sales prospects into customers
  • Be enthusiastic about learning more
  • Excellent relationship building skills with all levels of stakeholder
  • Positive, motivated, and driven by finding new business opportunities
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Strong team-working ability
  • High energy and hunter mentality
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Flexible and willing to travel to other company locations
  • Ideally located in Sheffield
