Job Description

Salary: £32,100 - £37,449Job Type: Full Time, Permanent Location: SheffieldPROPERTY MANAGERThe Property Manager will coordinate the delivery of an effective, high quality block and estate management service to a portfolio of unique developments. These include an exciting new Build to Rent (BTR) scheme and an iconic, landmark development in the centreof Sheffield. They will provide expertise and specialist advice on all aspects of property management ensuring a consistent and co-ordinated approach across all Customer groups.What you’ll be doing

  • Deal courteously and efficiently with enquiries concerning all types of management and maintenance issues at properties managed by Plumlife
  • Provide a high-quality, responsive and value-for-money management service
  • Take a leading role in planning major works, preventative maintenance and cyclical works
  • Carry out scheme inspections on a regular basis
  • Ensure that a customer focused service is provided
  • Liaise with clients and other key stakeholders
  • Drafting and serving S20 notices for major works
  • Prepare and monitor budgets, service charge accounts
  • Management of on-site staff
  • Ensure responsive and planned repairs are of a high standard and in line with budgets and legislative requirements
  • Identify situations where specialist technical support is required, coordinating third parties and overseeing subsequent works
  • Attend residents meetings and AGM’s as required
What you’ll need:
  • Qualified to IRPM or equivalent Housing Qualification or working towards
  • Experience of block, estate or property management role
  • Experience of delivering a customer focussed service
  • Experience of Health & Safety compliance requirements
  • Experience setting and monitoring budgets
  • IT Literate
  • Ability to use own initiative and work under pressure to meet tight deadlines
  • Excellent problem solving abilities
  • Knowledge of relevant Leasehold, landlord and tenant legislation including S20 consultation process and consultation with customers generally
  • Full clean UK driving licence and use of own transport
