We are delighted to be working with a international and long term client of ours, due to the success in securing new business and expansion they are recruiting for a Production Operative on a temporary contract within a busy engineering environment. As a Production Operative you will be able to establish a job role, with a very "hands on" committed organisation, who want to succeed, and continue their success.You will need to have manufacturing experience, preferably working in a face-paced environment.They are looking for someone who has a great work ethic, good attitude, affable nature, adaptable and flexible, strong and resilient, and someone who is intellectually nimble and willing to learn new skills, take on responsibility for good quality work and on time delivery.The person would be part of a team of 6, and training will be provided.* Loading and unloading machines* Packing products ready for dispatch* Machine operating* Assembling products* Bolting and Greasing* Bar bendingBasic literacy and numerical skills are required and an understanding of route cards / works orders would be essential.Working hours are 8am-4.40pm Mon-Thursday and 8am-3.30pm on Fridays. However flexibility on timings will be expected, as some days shifts may change to 6am-2.30pm or to work half-days (4 hours a day) to suit business needs.The client belives the role may only be required for 2-3 weeks at most (based on our current order book), however if the person demonstrates skills that are attractive to us, they may be able to translate this into a longer term position.The rate of pay is £8.72/hour.Adecco acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
