The team create cutting edge software solutions to supercharge our services andmake our customers lives easier.ABOUT THE ROLESalary: c£45,000-£55,000 DOELocation: Sheffield/UK based remote working (must be in UK timezone)Due to continued expansion, ZOO Digital are currently seeking a Product Manager to join their team. As part of the Product Management team, you will work in a cross-function environment, championing ZOOs bespoke products and representing the customer inall product discussions. Reporting to the Vice President of Product Management, the Product Manager will effectively plan, organise, and control the ZOO product line throughout the product lifecycle.The Product Manager will work closely with ZOOs customers in the UK and abroad to collect and define product requirements, and then coordinate with all parties to develop new products and oversee product releases. You will act as ZOOs product expert, communicatingfeedback from the perspective of the product user and being on hand to resolve any issues. To support the product development, the Product Manager will also create, produce, and manage user manuals and training courses for customers, as well as conductingusability tests once product development is completed. The Product Manager will conduct customer visits, both in the UK and abroad, and particularly in the USA.Day to day responsibilities will include;

  • Performing product validation with existing and potential customers, as well as the ZOO sales team, to create concise business need documentation
  • Translating business requirements into details and well-organised product requirements in the form of user stories, including preliminary GUI content/design and data requirements where necessary
  • Collecting product requirements from customers, sales, marketing, software development and software support to improve user experience and product functionality
  • Refining business requirements during the product development life cycle including review of detailed design and technical information.
  • Coordinating and maintaining pertinent product milestone dates and work with Software Development, Project Management and others to coordinate delivery/availability of products.
  • Analysis, design, specification and development of documentation and information systems for software products and services.
  • Supporting senior staff with research, development, and presentation of new product concepts to gain timely management approval, and handling of issues for product feature/function set to enhance sales opportunities
  • Act as liaison between Sales, Marketing and Software Development; extract technical product information and effectively disseminate it to Sales, Marketing, influencers and partners.
  • Maintaining strategic relationships with partners, vendors and internal and external customers regarding current product usability and future product needs.
  • Maintaining current status of customer requirements for existing and future products and proactively seek user feedback in order to improve application design and deployment.
  • Assist in pre- and post-sales activity, including demos to prospects, trade shows, media events, and conference participation.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FORThe Product Manager will play a key part in ZOOs product development and product support, therefore we are looking for excellent communicators with extensive customer-facing experience and strong technical acumen. We are looking for a skilled customer ProductManager, with experience gained within a similar software development field.In addition to a full understanding of the product lifecycle, the Product Manager must also have the following experience; Three years product management experience in a software development environment Definition of requirements for software products and/or websites Experience in design packages such as Adobe XD Ui/UX design for software products and/or websites Creation of user documentation and training Ability to review customer workflows and design products around them Great presentation skills Experience of working on web projects Knowledge of agile software development processes such as SCRUMWHY CHOOSE ZOOOur technology is constantly evolving, so theres never a dull moment with ZOO!
