Job Description

Adecco Sheffield are proud to have partnered with a major bespoke manufacturer in Sheffield S9 and we are currently looking for several plater/welders.You will be responsible for producing high quality fabrications, on time, to budget and in a safe manner.Pay: £14 P/H rising to £14.50Hours: Days, Monday to Friday 7:00am - 4:30pmSpecification:

  • Apprentice trained with City and Guilds in fabrication and welding or equivalent.
  • Proof of recent welding codings.
  • Experience of working in quality driven environment
  • Trained to ISO1090 and ISO3834 standards with a minimum welder qualification of BS EN ISO 9606 fillet and butt)
  • Worked with various materials such as carbon steels, Stainless, Aluminium and other exotic specifications.
  • Able to read and understand complicated technical drawings quality documents and QITP.
  • Competent in all aspects of processing steel i.e. cutting, shearing, drilling and bending.
  • Ensure tolerances and parameters are met to satisfy quality and output.
  • Follow and adhere to procedures for both production and health and safety daily, weekly and monthly checks.
  • Ability to work effectively and use own initiative.
  • Be a team player and have a flexible / "Can Do" attitude.
