Job Description

MYNT Recruitment are working with the UK leading manufacturer and supplier of integrated conveyor systems. We are currently looking for 4 Mechanical Tradesman to start immediacy. The roles are full time and permanent.The role comes with a company van and fuel card.25 Days holiday plus bank holidays£150 a week call out bonus£50 stand by bonustime and half after 40 hoursDouble time on Sundays (optional) and evenings (optional)Allot of work is carried out in Airports at Air-side, you must pass a CRB check so please do not apply of you have a criminal record.

  1. Main Purpose of Job
To provide Planned and Reactive Maintenance Service and Installation support.To assess breakdowns and repair as requiredTo inspect equipment and complete engineering maintenance reportsTo ensure that all work activities are undertaken safely during operations.To ensure that work program and goals are maintained and achieved.
  1. Principle Accountabilities
  • Assessing work risks
  • Working to instructions
  • Working to permit systems
  • Liaising with line supervision/management
  • Filling out job sheets.
  • Completing a daily Robson Time sheet
  • Complete weekly timesheets/expense forms
  • Assembling, Maintaining, and Installing equipment
  • Adhering to regulations
  • Carry out a daily vehicle checks if utilizing company Transport.
  • Responsible for your issued PPE.
  • Following instruction and guidance.
  • Work to safe working practices
  1. 3. Skills
  • Mechanical Time Served or NVQ Level 3.
  • Ability to read basic engineering drawings, build sequence and parts lists.
  • Computer literate and able to use Microsoft Office programs
  • Being flexible and approachable

  • Being diligent and resourceful
  • Problem solving
  • Using hand/power tools and other specialist equipment

  1. 4. General Working Arrangements
  • When working in Robson Site Services premises standard Factory office hours will apply.
  • The role is predominately based within the UK
  • The role involves being flexible and accommodating to achieve goals.
  • The role will involve working outside of normal hours e.g. weekends, nights etc.
  • Specific projects and contracts will involve travel outside of the UK.
  • All hours worked to be recorded on timesheets and submitted to the immediate line supervisor/manager.
5.Security clearance Several of the industries and sites we attend require a certain level of security clearance. This is a mandatory requirement to pass. A failed security clearance application will result in a permanent offer of a position being withdrawn.
