Job Description

Domino Commercial Interiors is a Design and Build specialist, focussed on commercial interior fit-out, refurbishment, and a workplace furniture provider to Public and Private Sector organisations. With our sister company Domino Mechanical and Electrical Services, we provide an in-house service allowing us to be fully considerate of the development and delivery of our client projects.Since 1991 we have completed thousands of UK contracts for prestigious and Blue Chip companies in all areas of business around the UK including; Offices, Education, Healthcare, Manufacturing, Utilities, Hotel, Leisure, Professional Services, Retail and Construction.Due to continuous company growth we have ambitious plans to further develop the company to become recognized as the best of its’ kind in the region.Main RoleThe company is looking to recruit an experienced Management Accountant to join their team. The individual will work closely with the Directors and must be an experienced and highly organised professional with a track record of “getting things done”.Key responsibilities will include;

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts working on Sage 50 to include P&L, Balance Sheet, WIP and project performance figures
  • Quarterly VAT returns
  • Preparation to final trial balance for year-end submission to Accountants to enable annual statutory accounts production
  • Cash management and cash flow forecasting, bank reconciliation and payments in and out
  • Preparation of payroll information to provide to external payroll provider
  • Completion and submission of annual P11D for all employees
  • CIS supplier verification, monthly returns and reports to suppliers
  • Personal Tax information and submission
  • Management of all Company Insurances and renewals
  • Management of company vehicle information
  • Company Secretarial tasks relating to confidential information and Companies House
  • Liaison with HR specialist
  • The Person
  • You will have significant accounts experience and be used to working with a small to medium sized business
  • A professional accounting qualification (ACA/ACCA/CGMA) would be ideal but qualification by experience will be seriously considered
  • Sage 50 knowledge and IT literate and a capability to pick things up quickly
  • Capability to work as part of a team with a great personality
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
