We are looking to appoint a proactive Library Resource Centre Manager and Reading Co-ordinator.You will be responsible for the operation and the delivery of an effective Library Resource Centre within our school. You will need to manage the delivery, development and monitoring of the library resources on an ongoing basis.You will provide a professional and welcoming service for pupils and staff, and will have the ability to act in a courteous, diplomatic and professional manner to ensure that consistent and outstanding customer service is provided at all times. You will takea lead in delivering library lessons to classes across the whole school and support the engagement of parents/carers in their childrens learning and curriculum needs.As our Reading Co-ordinator you will be responsible for the delivery of specific reading interventions to identified cohorts of students. You will work alongside our Associate Assistant Principal for Reading, and our Reading Mentor, to ensure that studentsreceive high quality interventions which boost their reading progress and address their learning needs. You will have access to high quality, research based resources to support the planning and delivery of intervention sessions.The successful candidate will have a minimum of two years experience working in a similar setting and minimum NVQ 4 in Business Management qualification.
