Are you an experienced PHP Developer looking for career progression Would you be interested in being the Lead PHP Developer in a tech driven company where you will have a good degree of autonomy, be able to manage people and be responsible for the overall technical directionYou will be working on back-end solutions on the platforms and sites that the company build. Typical activities include:Designing and developing solutions and software for clientsTaking the lead to create brand new technologies and softwareUpdating database and server versions, testing upgrades etc.Using languages like PHP, MYSQL, CSS and JavaScriptUsing Shell/bash scripting as well as Laravel and Yii frameworksWorking on and developing the data platformImproving existing websitesResponsible for leading a small team and ensuring projects are completed within a timely manner.The company currently use the following technologies, you do not need to have skills and experience in all of these but a mix of these technologies is good: PHP, MySQL, JavaScript, MVC (Laravel / Yii), HTML, CSS, REST, JSON, Jira, Bash, AWS, and PHPUnit.An initial interesting project is to move from their current hosting provider into AWS, prior experience of that is not needed. As the team lead you will be heavily involved in both the design and development process of projects.
