Job Description

  • Maintain system reference files and NHS Number Tracing.
  • Undertake and supervise system mergers in a timely and efficient manner to allow for service continuity.
  • Provide high quality support to all users in the configuration and use of the Lorenzo EPR system, and other systems. This includes logging on to their computer remotely and guiding them to a solution to their problem.
  • Build and configure outpatient clinics, create letter templates using complex conditional formatting techniques.
  • Being a main contact between the system support service and the wider organisation, escalating issues where required / appropriate.
  • Develop partnership working, networking systems and integrated practice within the organisation, such as Corporate Teams, Directorates, Clinicians, and others to support the use of systems.
Youll learn the following whilst working at the trust:
  1. An in depth understanding of the roles and responsibilities involved in working within the NHS
  2. Knowledge of the systems used, to effectively complete your role to the highest standard at all times
  3. A sense of teamwork, gained through working alongside and supporting colleagues from all levels, within the organisation
Youll have the following skills/experience:
  • Excellent communication skills- both verbal and written
  • Microsoft office skills- Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
  • An understanding of team working and the ability to prioritise own workload
  • Experience of service desk environment
  • Experience of IT Support
  • Previous NHS experience
