International Mechanical Engineer (Rotating Machinery/Heavy)£40,000 - £50,000 + 25 Days holiday + PensionDerby, Nottingham, SheffieldAre you a Mechanical Engineer from a heavy rotating machinery background looking for an international role where you will work from home and travel across Europe installing very large capital equipment within the minerals/mining and energy industryOn offer is a permanent role where you will be away from home for up to 150 days per year. You will be involved in the installation and maintenance of large refractories and rotating equipment. This is a hands on role where you will be involved in mechanical maintenance, installation and service such as changing bearings and seals to complex installation of rotating vessels and refractories themselves.This company are a niche, specialist business which operate across Eastern Europe and have plans to expand into the Middle East and beyond.This role would suit a Mechanical Engineer from a heavy rotating machinery background looking for an international role where you will work from home and travel across Europe installing very large capital equipment within the minerals/mining and energy industry.THE ROLE

  • Maintenance of industrial rotary vessels - Changing bearings, rollers, service and repair work
  • Installation of refractories and rotating machinery - welding/fitting
  • Resurfacing, grinding and alignment
  • Work from home - International travel across the globe - up to 150 days away per year
    • THE PERSON
  • Mechanical Engineering background - maintenance/fitting/welding
  • Very large rotating machinery/vessel/refractory background
  • Willing to travel Internationally with long periods away
  • Must be an EU National and have an EU passport
