Working among our team of Sales & Account Managers, youll engage with people across our business to advise, informand recommend all things Energy Efficiency and Sustainability!Interested Then read on to find out more!The Role:It is an exciting time here at City Plumbing. Weve recently become a stand-alone business and are making real strides in creating a diverse and inclusive workplace that celebrates and values diversity.One of the areas that we are looking to grow is our Energy Efficiency team by employing an Account Manager to be their central point of contact.Within this Account Manager role, youll take the lead in communicating to our branch and sales managers to help inform them of our EE proposition and push new and innovative products onto the market.This will have a real tangible impact. Market legislation is due to encourage the Plumbing and Heating sector down a renewable and sustainable green path! You could be at the forefront of that journey!Areas of focus include:

  • Be the central point of contact by developing customer relationships through regular and structured communication.
  • Push self-learning and development by working with the Regional Sales Management team.
  • Attend our monthly Sales meetings and feedback on any activity.
  • Help to increase participation across the branch network of our Energy Efficiency and Under Floor Heating products.
  • Ensure new Product launches are communicated to Branch and Sales managers in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Be an ever-trusted advisor to the whole department, championing the customer at every stage of the journey.
This is a home-based opportunity but with coverage across the South-West.You should be based in the UK and our Head Office is in Crick, Northamptonshire.This means you could be from areas such as Blackburn, Blackburn, Blackpool, Bradford, Chesterfield, Derby, Doncaster, Durham, Harrogate, Hull, Leeds, Liverpool, Manchester, Middlesbrough, Newcastle, Nottingham, Preston, Sheffield, Stoke-on-Trent, Sunderland,Warrington, Wrexham, orYork.You:Youll live and breathe our customer-first ethos, with a proactive and forward-thinking approach. Youll be excited to join our Sales/Account Management team, and will take great pride in the direction and rate at which our business is set to grow.Required skills and competencies:
  • Previous experience of working within a Sales or Customer focused role.
  • Energy Efficiency or Plumbing & Heating knowledge is preferred but not essential.
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) in order to communicate with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • Solid range of Account Management experience/skills from project management, sales negotiation, and stakeholder management.
